Must be nice that taxpayers have enough money to help fund this crap. One of the dumbest stories I’ve ever read. Waste.of.time. Kind of surprised though that there wasn’t some mad rush to call child services to ‘save’ the step daughter.

Funny part though is he “was sitting just inside the front door of his living room”. Love how that was worded. He was probably behind a bush of some sort too.

These kinds of stories would be Onion material if it wasn’t really serious. The guy is blind. He don’t know if he’s inside or outside his house. Would it have made a difference if he shut and locked his front door while his daughter stood out in the cold handing out candies?

The state of IL must be doing really well that the taxpayers are ok with twelve months of supervision of a blind man for a civil violation. Must be because of all the freeloaders that get killed in Chicago every weekend, freeing up all sorts of tax dollars.
